Effective January 1, 2026, students and dependents who are Medicare-eligible will no longer be eligible for coverage under the Student Health Plan (SHP).

Click the button below to enroll yourself and your dependents in the Student Health Plan. Payment will be paid directly to AHP for both students and dependents. Proof of eligibility is required to add dependents.

Continuation is for one month and for those who are no longer eligible for coverage as an enrolled student. Check your eligibility. If you are enrolled in classes at UKY, scroll up and choose your group, International, Voluntary, Funded Grad, Visiting Scholar/Student.  Only students who are no longer enrolled for classes should enroll in Continuation.

Continuation of Coverage is only available to Insured Students and covered Dependents who have graduated or are no longer eligible for coverage under the University of Kentucky Student Health Plan. Covered students must have been insured for at least three (3) continuous months before coverage terminated under the Prior and/or Current Plan.
